What is Catch Up Payment?
You can get funding to cover the cost of tutoring, supplies, and equipment for your child during the 2022-2023 school year. Eligible applicants will be provided with a single payment of:
* $200 for each student between kindergarten and Grade 12, up to age 18
* $250 for each student with special education needs between kindergarten and Grade 12, up to age 21.
Who can apply?
You can submit an application if you live in Ontario:
1) Parent or guardian to a student from kindergarten to Grade 12
2) Secondary school student at the age of 18.
3) Parent/guardian of a student from kindergarten to age 21 with special learning needs.
Eligible Student
Students are eligible if they are:-
a) enrolled in kindergarten to Grade 12 and are up to 18 years old
b) Enrolled in kindergarten to Grade 12 are up to 21 years old and have special needs.
and-
* Go to Publicly funded school/private school/First Nation operated or Federally operated school/homeschooled.
*Both in-person and remote learning students are eligible
STUDENTS OF ADULT AND CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS OVER 18 YEARS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE
Step 1: Create your profile 🙁Check your application status, and update the information prior to submission)
Step 2: Provide information for each student for whom you’re requesting Catch Up payments (a separate application for each student must be submitted)
a) The name of their school and school board
b) Their date of birth
c) a valid email address
d) method of payment (e-transfer, direct deposit or cheque)
e) All information about a student must match their school’s record (if they attend a publically funded school)
If there has been more than one application for one student, the first one has been considered.
If this information is incorrect or incomplete, your payment will be deferred or declined.
ONLY ONE PARENT OR GUADIAN CAN APPLY
In 1-5 business days, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received, with the confirmation number.
